Sheriff Oborevwori   The SDGs Community Waka Initiative, a M.O.R.E Through Sustainable Development Goals (NA YOUR HAND E DEY) participatory approach to sustainable development planning and action has commenced its pilot phase in Delta State. The initiative, which aims to engage rural communities in the process of sustainable development planning and action, was implemented in eight riverine communities across two local government areas of Delta State.   The pilot phase which began in April involved a series of focus group discussions, community walks, and participatory assessments in Ijaghala, Kantu, Ureju, Ogheye-Eghoroke, Obonteghareda, Bateren, Bobbi-Olobe and Orere Communities.  Madam Victoria Efele for Burial May 18 Late Mrs. Victoria Oneoritsebawo Anunu Efele Mother of Mr. Jones Efele, Mrs. Victoria Oneoritsebawo Anunu Efele, fondly called Okunolegho Meje will be laid to eternal rest on Saturday May 18, 2024. Mrs. Victoria Efele, née Ometie who died at the early hours of Monday March 11, 2024 after a brief illness was aged 86. Speaking to Warri Voice Newspaper via the telephone, Mr. Jones Efele, Son of late Madam Victoria Anunu Efele  averred that the burial rites for his dear Mother will commence with an interment slated for Thursday May 16, 2024 at Eghoro(Young Town).
